During reviews, getting something wrong used to change the yellow from a solid yellow to a lighter yellow, but after the last update, it stays solid as if I didn’t get it wrong (though it still counts as wrong and doesn’t go green).

When getting a kanji wrong, the next time you encounter it in the review used to give you hints. After the latest update, it gives no hints but shows up like it is the first time in the review.

Hmm. Not showing hints the very first (and only the very first) time you get each kanji wrong in a lesson was intentional, and mentioned in the lesson notes. The purpose was to give you the chance to try it again without hints, now that you've seen it and jogged your memory.

However, you're right that it would still be helpful to show that as missing progress in the progress bar. I'll keep this open while I try to figure out if there's a good middle ground.

BlueRaja I do like how it doesn’t show hints the first time around, but some way to still track the progress would also be nice for sure. Maybe just have it become a different color?

(I have no idea how things are coded to know if that’s even remotely viable or not…)
